Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Below are links to the current forms from the Secretariat for the Orlando Diocese which will need to be filled out in order to sponsor your candidate for an upcoming Cursillo.

As a sponsor, you should first, of course, pray!

Secondly, you need to review the sponsor application and duties BEFORE you go  to your candidate to discuss sponsoring that person or that couple for Cursillo.  The form is well-written and full of important information, including the responsibilities of being a sponsor.  The responsibilities of being a sponsor are not to be taken lightly.  Remember that we are dealing with a person's faith and spirituality.  It is a great honor and privilege to sponsor a person.  You will be paid back many times over for your efforts, we can assure you!  If you have any questions regarding the responsibilities, especially if you are not sure that you are up to it, don't worry. . . we will be there to help.  Call any of the ultreya coordinators or speak to more experienced brothers/sisters in your group reunion if you have concerns.

Finally, when you are prepared take the Candidate Form to your candidate, download one below and go to it!  These forms should be pretty clear, but if not, let us know of your questions or concerns.

The completed forms need to be given to one of the ultreya coordinators.  We'll make sure that everything is in order and then send it to the Secretariat member who is responsible for accepting applications.
